Certificates of deposit — short and longer term schedule
Enterprise Bank of South Carolina lists seven days of interest as the penalty for CD terms of 7–31 days. For terms of 32–365 days, it lists one month of interest. For terms over 12 months, it lists three months of interest. The schedule uses days for its short-term categories and months for the longer category, so those original-term labels should be matched to the customer’s actual CD.
The source does not explain the penalty’s day-count basis, how a month of interest is converted, the balance used for the charge, or whether principal can be reduced. The rate information on the page is dated December 17, 2025; this summary does not represent a current rate quote or prove that an older CD has the same contractual penalty.
