Certificates of deposit — original-term and opening-week policy
Anderson Brothers Bank bases the standard penalty on the CD’s original term, not the time left until maturity: three months of interest on the amount withdrawn for terms of one year or less, and six months for longer terms. Its page separately states a seven-day-interest penalty for withdrawals within six days after deposit. It offers CD terms from seven days to 60 months.
The opening-week statement is a separate condition and must not be omitted or automatically combined with the standard schedule without the full agreement. The page does not settle that interaction, the penalty-month convention, or possible principal loss. Confirm the specific certificate and redemption quote; this summary does not approve a numerical model.
