Lincoln National Bank of Hodgenville states a penalty of 91 days of interest for CDs with terms of 12 months or less. For longer terms, it states a penalty equal to half the interest for the term, giving an 18-month CD with a nine-month-interest penalty as its example. The page gives a 10-day grace period after maturity for penalty-free withdrawal.
The page also says withdrawals are not allowed until maturity, so the published penalty schedule does not by itself guarantee early-redemption permission. It does not establish a complete dollar formula, including a daily-interest divisor or principal treatment. Confirm the particular CD's agreement and the bank's permission and quote; the separate IRA section is excluded.
